Alan, I finally finished your book, now I want to wait for the movie. What a build, looking forward to seeing it at one of the Sema Shows, it looks like that quality. Some very ingenious solutions to problems a lot of us face. Thanks for documenting all that you have done.

85 pages of posts and I have to go to bed , thought i would jump to the last page and see it all done ............ Now i have to get some sleep because I am in the middle of a stovebolt 6 build for my dads 47 chevy coupe , that I have to have built and dynoed by the 2oth of this month .. it is prehaps the most tricked out 6 i have ever worked on and if I dont deliver it by Christmas I may not get back to deliver it to the northeast til the spring ... I have been inspired by this thread to start on my 63 short bed , and i think after the first of the year i will learn how to post pictures and get it pulled out of the back garage and into the heated shop ........keep the pictures coming ..

I'll see what kind of results these produce. Because I don't have much experience with this stuff. Practice, Practice, Practice. Too bad I can't burn my scraps like I can with wood. :haha: An english wheel will be the next purchase, or maybe a tig.

Good luck on the stovebolt. Thanks for lookin'. Maybe by post 4000 I'll be done. :haha:

The shipment arrived today, but didn't have any time to get things put together. Need to get some metal to play with also.

I'm also looking for a 37* double flare tool kit. I can only find a single flare kit. Is that the only way you can do a 37* flare(single)?

Thanks for confirming that. I figured since there isn't a tool for the 37* double flare, that it doesn't exist. ;)

Nice equipment Alan, I have wanted to get some of the same ones for a while, but I will build my shop first. The garage would get to small if I added the equipment now...

Anyway, how is the bed coming along?
