Today, I finished the other side tail light conduit. This side only took me 1 hour. I trained myself the first day and so it turned out real nice.

I took the week end off and took the boys to a wild life attraction park and a haunted trail ride. They really enjoyed them selves.

I got the front bumper braces installed on the truck finally. Waiting for more $$$$$ to buy the rear and front bumper. A trip to Ocala, Fl. to pick them up. no shipping. I should have a few more parts come in tomorrow. We will see.

I mounted the washer bottle bracket and ran the water line to the bracket. I now need the bottle to make this job complete. I also took pictures of the brace for the bumper that I did yesterday.

Today, I done something that I was putting off for a long time. Adjusting the valves. I spent about 4 hours leaning over the engine. Every time I figured I had it done, there was a valve I missed. So I had to start over again. So tomorrow I will button the engine back up. All I have to do now is get it running and adjust them as she is running.

Today, I buttoned up the rest of the engine. I still need a wire loom to make the wires look right. Now it looks like a rats nest. I also ran the one wire from the alt to the pass side to connect to the battery. I didn't realize that the wire was for a pass side mount. so I made a junction box and ran a short piece of wire the rest of the way. I not sure if I will leave the junction box where it is. But for now it is ok. I need to give old patches a good bath, maybe tomorrow.

Today I started wiring the truck. Just getting everything in order to start running wires to the front and back. The kit came with a lot of extra circuits that I want be using right now. So I rolled the up and I will tie the up under the dash out of the way for now.
such as
power antenna
power door locks
power windows
electric fan
and a few others that I can't remember right off hand.

I had to weld up the 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 square hole in the fire wall also. My fuse block mounts to the fire wall not thru the wall like originally. So as you can see I hade to apply some bondo to make the hole disappear. Also here is the mounted washer bottle that came in the mail.

Today, I worked on the firewall patch under the circuit panel box. It came out ok, not the best work I have done but ok. Mounted the fuse panel and ran a few wires to the rear of the truck. I have to put some wire protectors on the wires to the rear. I connected the tail lights and back up lights and used shirk tubing over the butt connectors as you can see in the pictures. I still have to connect the clearance lights on the rear before I put the wire protectors on them.

Today, I finished with the rear of the truck except for the tag light. Waiting for the bumper before I can do that light. I attached the wire to the truck rail today and made some grounding block and a 12V block. To make the connections easier for the small stuff. As you can see in the pictures.

picture # 2 is the wire for the engine compartment yet done.
