thank you I hear you, but keep in mind electric vehicles have a fraction of the amount of parts that gasoline vehicles have

if we were to take two 16 year old kids, say twins, and teach them how to drive and maintain a comparable ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and electric vehicle and after say two years have them switch, I wonder what they would tell us?

"What, you have to change the oil twice a year?"
"What's SMOG?"
"What's a tune up?"
"So you have to rev your engine to 5,000 RMP before it makes top horse power and torque, why?"
"What's that noise?"
"Why does the car shake so violently?"
"What do you mean you fuel up when you sleep?"
"What do you mean you can drive your car across the desert, where do you charge?" LoL

because it is public information and what are the likes that some dude across the globe is going to pay for some subscription service to get my address, then fly out to my house and do what, help me take out the dents on the bed of my beater, lol ???

trust me I have tried to get the addresses of the hit and run accidents I was in and it's not as easily obtained from a license plate as you think, unless you are in law enforcement of some sort

the last screen shot below cracks me up, they are basically asking you to provide your personal information so that they can give you your personal information

The McMurtry Speirling mini Batmobile is very impressive. I don't watch racing much, Formula 1 is not exactly leading with technology are they. Your local round town runs are getting more better.

Pretty easy to make it happen. Attach ground from side marker to the rear turn element. How it is done in the 71-72 trucks on front markers. If you use led bulbs in the rear turn/brake location doing this mod, side markers will not light at all. Have seen led bulbs cause frustration for a few 71-72 owners.

just showing that I do drive the truck daily, and love it beyond words, anyway a question for you all, and this is embarrassing cause I'm an IT Guy by day and a Forum Updater by night, yet I don't use technology for technologies sake, if you follow that logic, well my wife does this thing where she deposits paper checks into the bank on her phone and I just don't get that Wicket Witchcraft, do you do it also like that?

PSA: so I called up these guys off of Craigslist who call themselves Mobile Ding Performance & Paint. I'm sure you've all heard of 1 Day Paint & Body, well I thought their ad said 1/2 Day Paint, but it actual said they will get there in half a day, anyway they did a half donkey job, drank all my beer, and left, I went to leave them a bad review on Yelp but they must have taken their webpage down, I knew the rollers were a red flag !

Exactly, the man has probably forgotten more about these trucks than I will ever know, and he was kind enuff to educate me on how my truck was optioned out, and something called "Soft-Ray" glass pronounced: "green tint"

"The vent window you disassembled today has Soft-Ray green tinted glass."

I've said it before and I'll say it one more time when it comes to rust removal It Takes Two To Tango, meaning chemicals and abrasives, so I've been using Phosphoric acid from Home Depot for 20 years with great results it used to cost $5 bucks a gallon, they have changed the container about half a dozen times and further deluted the formula in California over the years but it still works, and it's the same sh!et you'll find in 90% of the fancy named brand miracle gimmick removal brands out there that cost 6 times more

yes I also wire wheeled this piece, as I do all my rusty bits, that's the abrasives part

FYI there's blue tape underneath that duct tape so it comes off easier but still gets more better protection (cause protection is key, especially these days)
