That harness is made for that truck. Summit had the best price I could find and I got a free power braid kit to dress up all the wires with it valued at over $200. The 35 page installation instructions were pretty good, I thought it came with everything but I had to buy 2 plugs for the tail lights and 2 for the front turn signals. Didn’t really get to finish cause we went to the race in charlotte all day Saturday but could have knocked it out in a full weekend.

I'm doing the same thing I was doing yesterday and will be doing tomorrow. Trying to finish my oil change. I'm trying to deal with a leaking spin on filter adapter the the PO installed.

I pulled the tranny crossmember from my parts truck, and also got the cab pulled from it as well, and swapped onto my swb. Looks way better, with a complete cab on it. I need to order the engine harness so that I can finish hooking up the big block...thats this weeks project...

Birds of a feather, flock together. The '60-'63's are hanging together at the shop and the big back windows are at the paint shop.

I got some new parts for my truck but didn't do anything to the truck. I picked these up from Pick and pulls half price day. The Grill support was $18 and the carb was $25 and the Truions were in the bottom of the tool bag. OOps.. I paid $50 and some change for it all. I also snagged some bolts. Why not, they only fall on the ground and do nothing anyway.
There was only one ding in the grill support and the carb was a rebuilt one so I really don't know what I have. If it works then I won't have to rebuild my other one.

I laid out the bed wood and strips yesterday. Slow progress with the truck at one location and the bed at another.

I purchased the nuts, bolts, washers, etc. today at Lowe's but they do not carry the correct size Forstner but to countersink the bed mounting washers. I ordered the bit online and will try to complete my fascia and rain gutter project in the meantime.

Finally got the lower bearing for my C10 Steering Column (back ordered for 3 weeks). I assembled the column and reinstalled it. Lilred66 fixed me up with the correct upper housing and now the column looks "correct" for a floor shifted 4-speed manual tranny. (PO left the 3 on the tree column in it) Now I am waiting for the steering wheel.

Also retired the PO's Edelbrock "ignite-o-matic" foam air cleaner. Replaced it with an old school open air filter design. Now the Eldebrock unit is wall art.

After several months of weather delays, I finally got the opportunity to paint my wheels black. After a few more hours under the heat lamps they'll be back on by tomorrow.

lake:

The signal harness goes inside the mast jacket cover, instead of routing out of the lower bonnet to daylight. The mast jacket cover is offset to keep the wires from rubbing between the mast jacket & mast jacket cover. Thanks for the honorable-mention. I am glad to see the parts worked for you.

I see, said the blind man! Looks like I will be dissassembling and then re-assembling. I am getting good at it

Thanks for the help!
