Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Well I’m finally getting this thing to look like a something. I got the complete dog house install, along with the headlights and turn signals, and an engine cover (I think it’s temporary until I have time to fab something). I also started wet sanding the fenders.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Really nice Bam, I love the color in combination with chrome.
Do you happen to have an overall shot, with the box on it yet? I’m curious about that... |
Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
sooooo Jealous
What headlights are those BTW? |

If you like the combination now it should look much better after I finish color sanding that is with 1000 grit taking away the shine. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
The wifey said the truck was way too loud.lol She will be in it with me and I want her comfortable so I had to compromise. I installed new mufflers. The were cheap but got good reviews. So for the price I tried them. They are Jones Exhaust Max Air Flows.
Heres what the truck sounds like now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmnrz3v1YTs |

They also have another one at Lowes in Hawthrone every other Sunday at 1 pm. Just some place to go once you get the truck running or even if you don't have it running you can go look at some rides. Quote:

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
I believe in having working parking brakes but I wanted a electric parking brake, but I was not willing to pay 400 bucks for one so I fabricated my own.
I have this wired when the parking brake is on the little (P) stays lit. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4909/3...94d24fd4a7.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7914/3...248799cb45.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7906/4...3cd05288f4.jpg It works pretty good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8helOr-WoE |
Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
I was able to put some work in on the truck over the Holidays. I fabricated these bumper brackets, shaved mounting holes, to have a smoother looking bumper. Now I have to find a good chrome shop.
