Ordered the new steering box from Red-Head steering gears in Seattle WA today. $246 out the door and $100 core charge. Have heard great stuff about these guys, so looking forward to getting the new box and installed.

Link to them if anyone is interested: http://www.redheadsteeringgears.com/

Didn't make paint this past weekend as planned.....just too many small things I needed to do 1st and spent most of Saturday walking and marking off 40 acres that we hunt on. But....pass door installed....then had to remove due to a broken bolt on install. Ground down, drilled and retapped and reinstalled. Cab removed. Cab sanded down and just some more minor things before primer. Goal is paint Saturday a.m.......as I think we're just about ready now.

I haven't been getting out much and checking other builds. Nice to see you're about to take that next big step. Sure looking forward to seeing it in paint. Good luck!

what did you use to attach the chains to the bed to lift it, is the wood and cross sill attached?

One of the PO's added some eyelets to the tops of the bed sides. The bed was pulled complete with wood floor. Took a little adjustment on the chains to get it balanced right, but wasn't any issue lifting it with the cherry picker.

Yeah....Austin's on there. I don't want half the stuff I have on my phone now. I've looked into the instagram thing, but once the forum and FB and all rest are accounted for....its just too much for me to keep up with.

Color down Sat a.m. if the weather cooperates like its suppose too.

Glenwood green from the factory and was resprayed at some other point just a hair lighter. Will be blue after this weekend. I can dig up the original paint code and chips tomorrow.
