Ordered the new steering box from Red-Head steering gears in Seattle WA today. $246 out the door and $100 core charge. Have heard great stuff about these guys, so looking forward to getting the new box and installed.

Didn't make paint this past weekend as planned.....just too many small things I needed to do 1st and spent most of Saturday walking and marking off 40 acres that we hunt on. But....pass door installed....then had to remove due to a broken bolt on install. Ground down, drilled and retapped and reinstalled. Cab removed. Cab sanded down and just some more minor things before primer. Goal is paint Saturday a.m.......as I think we're just about ready now.

Also got most of the rear frame prep and paint done. Need 1 more coat yet.

what did you use to attach the chains to the bed to lift it, is the wood and cross sill attached?

Glenwood green from the factory and was resprayed at some other point just a hair lighter. Will be blue after this weekend. I can dig up the original paint code and chips tomorrow.
