I started out rebuilding the edelbrock carb I bought a while back…;) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7691/...9b4a5b1c_c.jpgIMG_2937 by ta2don, on Flickr https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7775/...bd1ab0a5_c.jpgIMG_2938 by ta2don, on Flickr https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8719/...fa8afcaa_c.jpgIMG_2939 by ta2don, on Flickr Float levels re-adjusted…they were way off...:ito: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7759/...1b0fe339_c.jpgIMG_2940 by ta2don, on Flickr Bowls needed serious cleaning... https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8719/...8c004952_c.jpgIMG_2941 by ta2don, on Flickr All cleaned up and mounted, along with new dipstick doing it's best to photobomb...:haha::crazy: https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8884/...141ec7da_c.jpgIMG_2949 by ta2don, on Flickr The last pic today is the front of the engine… again… this time the P/S pulley is painted and I am now on the hunt for a high pressure hose that will tie the older fitting on the box to the newer style fitting on the new style pump... https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7747/...36faaa70_c.jpgIMG_2950 by ta2don, on Flickr The Alternator will re-appear tomorrow and before I bow out, I must say THANK YOU!!! to Markb01… In the process of slapping all the engine stuff together I started researching my options for a fuel pump… After reading a few threads, I decided to PM Mark and get his opinion since I'd read his thread through his fun involving fuel delivery systems…;) He graciously responded very quickly and endured more questions and provided links to the products (Pre-pump fitter, Pump, and Relay) he recommended… I thanked him and immediately ordered said parts...:uhmk: The plan is to fire the engine the day or so after Mother's Day!!!:bann: |
