The battery will be housed inside the box in the bed.
This box was from a 29 model A sedan for luggage. And I built a steel box that goes inside and locks. Mark |
Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
sueeeeeddde! looks great man!
its a nice update on the sander too, what will be the main usage? |
Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
The usage of the belt sander is mainly for fabrication
Been wanting one for years,so I decided to just build one. The reason for the paint....because I can  Mark |
Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
hey reaper, what size of belt did you go with on the sander? looks good, and the width of the belt is wide enough to do some work for sure. nice.

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D
The main frame of the sander was based off the design from (Ameribrade) I used there wheels, platen and work table.
Then I modified the upper section as needed for the adjusting. I had No measurements, plans etc. when building this (I just winged it!) The stand was my design so it can be rolled around if needed. Mark |

This not an update on my truck, however its some things I wantedto share.
Pic 1. The 55 I worked on awhile back has been gone for several months now. Wanted to show what the metal work looked like. Pic 2. This is Brendans diesel motor that will be going in his 67 truck. The color is a Denali color from GM the truck will be painted the same. Pic 3. Me and my Friend John were working over the weekend on his 48 Ford truck and this is the new flake. |
