Here is my 84 scottsdale I had in h.s. it had 2" splindles and a flip kit. had 2" springs too but took them out as it was to low for N.H. and the cops didnt like it. It had a 305/ 3 spd std, I took out the worn out 305 and put in a mild built 350. Man i miss that truck. Did all the body work and paint myself. sorry for the poor qualit pic its the only one i have left.

http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/a...8/DSCF5806.jpg http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/a...8/DSCF5809.jpg http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/a...8/DSCF5811.jpg http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/a...8/DSCF5813.jpg Found this one not far from me. It was up on ramps, filthy and would not drive. Got it, had the transmission rebuilt and it drives like a champ. I got a call from the previous owner and he handed over a bunch of paperwork. Turns out the engine is a jasper reman and it only has 40k on it. So it has a newer engine(350 FI) and new transmission (700r4). The only downside to this truck is the sunroof. At least it does not leak but other than needing paint (two small dings and a small wrinkle on the upper bedside) a new seat cover and a few odds and ends this will make someone a great truck. |
Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
thats a clean lookin truck
how much did you give for it? any pics of the sunroof? |
