I'm still here....Farmers Fight. Spending money like I got it on my '67. Scott's Hot Rod Shop IFS, Wilwood Disc brakes, CPP this and that. Its crazy. One day I will catch up to the orange beauty.

Ahhh the fun of owning a old truck, and the fun of getting new parts!!!! My water pump went south, guess the belts were too tight?!?! And the brown truck delived some more shiney parts!!!:metal:Last but not least my first magazine picture in this months Truckin magazine!! It's about the size of a postage stamp on page 88....:lol:

Hey bud water pumps are not that much ,mabe is time to lash out for a aluminium one eg eldibrock . i had one on a sb 350 for ten years and all good . i like the polished intake . see dave trucks are a endless money pit . hey . reg mark

I already took it back and got the replacement water pump, lifetime warranty so it didn't cost a cent! The aluminum pumps are nice, just not ready to drop $180 on one just yet.

I have been working on this thing all day and now the engine is half torn down! The snowball effect is happening again. Go to put on a manifold and the next thing you know the headers are off, valve covers, plug wires, water pump........doh.:dohh: Got a polished bolt kit for the whole engine and they have little Chevy emblems on em....kinda cool, you can see the reflection on the timing chain cover. :

Man I don't know how I missed your build, I just went through the whole thing, that truck is Mighty Slick. I think you have a rig on your hands worth being proud of, and I do love the color.

Thanks widewhite! After seeing my buddy's engine (327) with it on, I had to have one for myself.......so far I am lovin it. Seems to make the engine breath better so the exhaust has a better melody!!! :metal:

I hope you can make it to one of the shows!!! Just look for the bright orange!!!

Thanks TexPugh!! I was surprised, there were alot of classic custom trucks there (which was my class) and I got 1st. This was the first annual so surely the trophies/plaques will get better or bigger in the future.

It is a huge undertaking, I did a oak floor and did 10 coats of clear on it originally when I first did my truck, the look of wood is priceless thou. As for the Pics that you had taken, all I can say is well done BRO!!!!!! very nice and a bit of jealousy here. Engine looks great also now all cleaned up.
