Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

all of the wiring and plumbing around the air tanks will be nice and tidy when done, carpeted and 2 10 inch Kicker Audio subs and Amps will be included in this area also ...pretty tight in there then it will all be covered with a hinged false floor with Bed Wood and Parts wood bed !

Mike you and your friends are doing a great job, super nice work. One question I have is on the under dash MC, will you have a remote fill coming back to a different cover? With the interior installed and dash, how hard would it be to check the MC?...Jim

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

The stainless exhaust bands....is that just a straight butt joint under the clamps? I like the look and fit but have never used them.......oh yeah ....i'm loading pics in 2 days of my bed fabbing...these 180* bends from thorbeck bros i'm using are killer...will want your opinion.....by the way I got tickled at a buddy of mine....called me after Good Guys and was rubber-tongued sayin "Man u know the truck u told me about...the one on the cover of Street Trucks.....holy crap that's fine!!!!...worth my ticket in to see it"........My reply...."See I told u if u have the drive anything can be accomplished....He's just an old car salesman from Arkansas!!!!..........LOL......jim

LOL, Awesome thank you man ! Yes we also got the badge for finalist for the "TERRIFIC TWELVE" pretty pumped about it , a garage built truck competing with $250,000 trucks !!

The exhaust clamps are clamped over flared and slid over junctions, I wanted to do it this way so I could take it off and Jet Hot Coat it later

Sad to admit it but sometimes those garage built truck are better than the $250,000 trucks. Cloud 9 is going to give them a run at the money!
