Saw this at a local show on Saturday.
There was a build going on this forum for the truck, but it never showed it completed. This thing is really nicely done.

Random shots from Saturday's ride. The homemade contraption on the trailer was about 20 feet long and had a small block in it.

We had a neighbor down the street who put all kinds of dreck like that out. She died and the husband sold the place, with all the junk still there. Packed his clothes and went back east to where he was from. The new owners completely remodeled it, painted it, new sod lawn, etc. It's a nice place now.

Picked up new u bolts for the Toyota rear had them made up at a local shop. But I stopped at Bethel woods which was right around the corner.

What do ya do when the hand truck is AWOL you make one , we put my sons wood stove in place today he has a split level home and had to go up two flights of stairs. And this thing is extremely heavy .

Now that's ambition. Build a hand truck and your reward is hoisting a wood stove up the steps. I use the heck out of my handy hand truck. Strappin' makes it happen!

We found the regular handtruck later. One of his friends had borrowed it for a move . My son is about an hour away so me going back to get mine wouldn't work. This actually worked better because it was made for the stove

I'm glad he got his borrowed handtruck back.

I loaned a guy my binoculars. Good ones. You can see a mile away with them.
He didn't give them back so I went to his place to get them back.
But he wasn't there... He saw me coming from a mile away. :lol:

Yesterday I’m cutting wood wife says the tractor quit in the front yard . Wouldn’t start cranking real fast . Knew it wasn’t good ,found a bent intake pushrod . Seems B&S used an alloy for the intake and steel for the exhaust . Found out it is some sort of failsafe if the motor overheats . I ordered a new one next I need to pull the cover off the top to see if there are mice or chipmunk nests stopping the air over the engine fins.

I have one of those on a shelf somewhere in the basement. Haven't used it since we got a gas range . Use to use it all the time when the power was out ... My wife picked some apples today early but they are starting to fall off with the slightest breeze. Apple pie and ice cream soon

Very cool! So, you'll be riding on 'down' to Chama. You're going to love it. We went the inaugural year, hadn't even heard of it. We had come up from Taos and found a campground in Chama. People we met were asking if we had come to ride the train. "Train? Ok, let's ride it"
Neat. We had a decent stiff breeze today as well. I was checking my paw paws but they're still hanging tight. That stove I don't think I've used since I had the camper. We'd use that rather than heat up the camper.

This was that same trip we rode the train on, somewhere south and east of Taos.
