Nice toys! I'm a sucker for a ramp-truck and that '65 (guessing since I don't see a fender badge and figured I'd split the difference) is one sweet-ass truck!

Thanks! Hulk: and yes the 4X4 is a '65. Original 4by at that, not a conversion.

Yeah buddy! The only thing I would do is to go down to a 70 sidewall tire and get 6" stacks instead of 8".

Huntington Beach City School District representing with a C3500 4x4 Square this morning on my way to work. The truck was CLEAN! I'll have to start asking around to see when those are going to get phased out of service...

Cool truck!!

What frame did you use?
Regular cab long bed frame?
And from the pics it looks like a shortened long bed?
I dig it big time!
Got more pics of the process?
Feel free to start a build thread!

It's a crew cab frame that's been shortened in the middle only.

Couple years ago I copied all these pics off SSM, lost them, then found them again this morning. Most of the buildups haven't been updated in like 4 or 5 years so I guess the trucks got finished or they didn't.

^ Seen a recent pic of this truck, it's been painted (primed?) flat black. Wish the guy woulda left it alone, I liked this look.

That's as likely as anything. Might be a mockup to see where to cut it, or maybe they set it back on the truck for temporary storage.

Who knows, that truck is one of the projects that hasn't been updated in years.

Thanks, I havnt really looked that much into it yet, but for sure spindles and springs, not trying to lower it too much because Texas has some pretty ugly roads.
