Re: 1966 Snub-nose C60 project
We are going to soda blast both aluminum blocks as well as the intakes so the entire surface of the motors is one uniform finish as well as the allison transmission then seal them all with clear. The entire frame and motor mounts and cross members will be painted a single color.we have not decided on a color for the cab yet. The colors in the mock up or " cartoon " are there just for contrast to see the different parts. Looking forward to making some progress on this build enjoy all the feed back that we've received. Will post more pics in a few days

Re: 1966 Snub-nose C60 project
I am hoping to get to spend more time on it in coming weeks. We would love to be able to drive this thing to LS fest in September, even if it's not completely done.

Re: 1966 Snub-nose C60 project
Hey guys, We have found a set of 10 aluminum semi wheels in 22.5. What would it take to get these wheels to fit on this grain truck? Adapters maybe?
|
Re: 1966 Snub-nose C60 project
Yes you'll need adapters. You can also keep them 22.5 and run a "low pro" semi tire or have them milled to 22" and run low pro car and truck tires. Pm me and I can help you locate a set of adapters and a place to mill the wheels.
