So no radio in truck and in today's world we use cell phone's and Ipod's.The original cig. lighter is wired for and ready for use.

I don't know why the past owners put all the hole's in the dash? I put misc. lamp's and period matching knob's in them though 2 of them became actual turn signal indicator's for left and right not just a lit dash cluster lamp.

Bed wood. A basic farm pack of mis match . Stained today and came put fairly well. This past summer i let the wood gray out a bit to look aged.

In the spare part's stash was 58 car shroud ,Modified it to fit the truck. Cut and tacked together for fit. Almost look's original.

Underside view with aired up rear bag's . This no restoration but it is cool to see the original primer seal coat from GMC.

The start of the exhaust from the header's out to the rear.Gonna have to be creative to keep tight high up and routed clear of everything.Left a clear route for it during the build.I think?

Came out to garage to see the Bull had pee'd on the floor. Out with the driveshaft slip yoke and welded up and sealed.

Antifreeze (coolant) filled in radiator and engine.Radiator cap needed my 2 bit's.

Set up a battery holddown for the start battery. Swapped out the auxillary optima redtop battery for new one as it was not holding a load anymore.It was a core battery I kept alive over a year and a half.

The previous owner (po) had put the blower fan switch in the glove box. Using a spare knob I moved the switch to the dash .Adapted it to one of the factory hole plugs.The original factory AIR lever is now the cable to open the water control valve.

so the rear axle's will be re-drilled for 5 on 5 pattern. And also new rear brake's complete .

Dropped 1960 gmc front shot. "Just cool I think". Maybe in the eye's of restoration or antiquier people they may feel this ruined. This is preservation.
