The rear bumper will get a new can rack on a swing-out like the tire carrier. Then providing I've cleared room in the garage I can get into the improvements to the camper. It's really in need of the canvas to be replaced and I really need to reskin the exterior. The beer-can thick exterior has had holes poked in it from rowdy trees when off-road. Not sure what I'm going to use but it will be much more resiliant that what was originally installed. Other than that the plan is to use it a LOT this summer. I leave for the desert trip with Larry Sunday. A week off road in nowhere Utah. Back to work for a week and then a weekend gig with my sister and her husband in Winter Park to help them with an arts/craft show. Probably a couple of mountain runs in later July/August and then back to Utah in September for Blazer Bash in Moab. I know some guys love the build process, and I do too. But I like using it a whole lot more. |

Took some pictures on the job I'm doing now. An old farm house with a long long lane. It's the old Osborne Farm and the lane is now public (Osborne Rd) that is paved but still one lane. Another interesting thing is the railroad runs right along the road at the end of the lane. So you drop through a cut to the road/rr grade and stop at the tracks. Can't see a train coming till you are right at the stop sign at the track. There have been a few car/train connections made there. It's a cool area of old bypassed road that shows how important the trains were at first, before the automobile, when towns and homes popped up along the tracks. There are four RR crossing through this area because the tracks and the road share the same basic path

Some random pics from our latest run to Moab for Blazer Bash and running the White Rim trail. Things got a little nutty.

Nice! Love the war shots. That SAS’D S10 in the background looks awesome! I’d love to have one of them one day.
