I guess it was a custom decal I can't find anything on it.

The title says "project" just curious to know what the projects are? Is it photography?

When I got it I was going to do alot to it (lift, wheels, tires, etc.) but when I started cleaning it up I just didn't have the heart to destroy such a nice truck so I left it stock. I need to change the thread title but I don't know how to change it.

thats cool, it does look pretty good though. As some point you may change your mind on ripping into it. Good luck anyhow.

Thanks I appreciate it. I'm going to be repainting it next year hopefully.

It doesn't have alot of rust though :). I also have been cleaning/scrubbing my carpet. Anyway on to the pics

Nice K5. Were did you get your front 4x4 decals for the front hubs? They are smaller than the back. Yours look awesome.

NCTyphoonKid 08-04-2011 10:06 PM

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project

I took the back decals and cut them to size since they don't make the hub decals.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project

Thanks, I just ordered some from LMC. My passenger side seat did the same thing, cracked almost exactly like that.
I guess all the vibration and movement over the years.

I'm sure that truck is happy to have met you, you're doing a good job bringing it back around to it's original condition.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project

The BFG All Terrain Radials are a classy touch. You brought those factory wheels back well, but if you want to bring them the rest of the way get some Meguiars Hot Rims polish. Use it with a buffing wheel or one of the foam wheels you use with a cordless drill if that's what you have. Mother's polish works great but this stuff works better.

Keep up the good work!
