Looks nice. For reference on the frame rail mounted battery…:you said you already have one but GM made a nice option too if yours doesn’t pan out - I love mine. GM 20970916

Re: Patina love
Originally i was just gonna run this LS with my th350 trans. But as time continued i decided to bite the bullet and ordered up a 4l80e. Buy once cry once kinda. Haha. Should be built by end of july and im gathering all the little crap to install. Wire harness, dipstick, stall converter, slip yoke etc…..
|
Re: Patina love
While im waiting for the 4l80e, i bough a FTI 3600 billet converter, holley pwm alt harness, holley trans harness and the correct flexplate. Tomorrow hopefully i will be pulling out this cherry inline 250 for a buyer.
Anyone recommend a oem style 4l80 dipstick and tube? Dont want the flex ones. Thanks for lookin |

Things are going slow waiting for me. Waiting for parts, specifically the trans. That way i can install engine and get to plumbing and wiring. I did manage to get my chevy volt radiator fans mounted today tho. Nothing special but progress. Havent got much done with the temps around here lately😞

Started plugging away at wiring harness from fuse block to headlights. I have removed the firewall plug and will be routing my wiring out side by vent and up under fender continuing in through core support for a cleaner look. Gotta weld up square hole still. Then got sidetracked when usps showed up with my hydroboost mounting plate. It fits nice and flush to firewall just need to mod the rod with a clevis or heim to get perfect.

Got all the firewall welded up and the engine in. Pass header needs some more clearance on the ear of transmission and power steering return need some more frame clearance. Other than that all is good
