dmoss69 Nice ride. Got a question. Do you know if there is some special code for your ground affects package on your truck. Been trying to locate a scource to purchase these ground affects for my Stepside. Again, Nice truck

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
Djack89,
I'm not sure what kind of numbers that you're looking for, but this is a package that MARK 3 put on my truck back in 1993. I don't know if they still carry this style of ground effects, I've never had to order a piece yet, I'm still on the first set. I've seen alot of ground effects packages, and I must say, that I do really like these the most. Update, I have about 6 more things to finish before we feel some boost! |

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
Dmoss69
I have seen this exact body kit on quite a few trucks around home. Figured it was a factory kit. I live in upstate New York and a lot of the trucks that I see the kits on are driven all year long. That should tell you something about how the bodies look. can't seem to get any of them to part with the kits though, even though they are propably the only thing holding the trucks together. Thanks for the reply |

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
Here`s another one I like, before the ugly ladder rack. This truck had air-bags all 4 corners,ARB in rear,TruTrac in front,300hp Marine 6.5TD,custom interior,2-stage power coat on bumper and box top diamond plate,top-o-the-line Alpine system w/Polk Components,l.e.d. tail lights, and strobes all around:
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...5/scan0017.jpg Here`s one later on.Pwdercoat on rack,then upper and inner surfaces LineX`d in dark grey,custom Herculon(truck tarp)tonneau: http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...5/scan0013.jpg OOPS! 5 years later I see I repeated myself:lol: Oh well,my wife always said I did that a lot. BTW,she's been gone 5 years,too! |

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
dmoss69, sorry it took me so long to get back to you, been layed up. The reason I asked about the ground effects is there are a few trucks running around here that have factory ground effects that look the same as yours. They all tell me that they were on the trucks when they bought them new but can't tell me if it was a special package that was purchased seprately. They are almost identical to yours and I was hoping to find out if these were something that could be bought through GM. Thanks for your reply, Djack89.

Re: Post Your Ride 88-98 Trucks
This is Sally we've been together since 1993 she has looked better but then again so have I. The wife recently suggested that she wouldn't mind her sitting out in front of the house if she looked better and that why don't I just get her fixed up. She's a good wife. So now with my budget constraints removed Sally will once again be the beautiful truck she once was. These are her before pictures, I hope to be posting updated progress pictures soon. At least as soon as the job allows.

I've owned this truck since it was new (1st owner) but when the motor went @ 187,000 I was goin to scrap it but the wife has some strong feeling for this truck since we dated in this rig.
