 2 1/2 year later response... So Cal clothing is owned and operated by No Fear Inc. After I read that you wanted a one piece side window I saw your build thread and just read the entire build. Looks good I'll keep an eye on this for sure! |

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
eventually it will have a/c, but dont know how far down the road that will be. want to run a vintage a/c style setup. so i figured get that and add it to the truck so it will already be their when i am ready

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
no pics but i picked up another set of bags and some fittings to run them shraders, some 2600 doms. will be installing those in the back and removing the dual 3/4 port 4 ply 2600 contis and putting them in the front. also picked up a few more tools to use when working on the truck.
edit: on that dash i will be cutting the center section out and plating it so its smooth then i will cut a new hole in it lower down for the in dash i plan to run. might add a few other things to as well just not sure what yet. |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
ordered a double adjustable panhard bar today from porterbuilt . i already cant wait for it :metal:
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
nice..
make sure you get the longest one they sell.i got the short one by mistake. instead of sending it back, i sectioned the metal and welded a solid rod in the middle to make it reach...sure hope my welds hold lol |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
thanks, and i'm pretty stoked to have my first piece from the porterbuilt line coming and will hopfully be buying more from him down the road. the one that i ordered from him is the same one that comes in his stage 2 drop kit, it mounts just like the cpp double adjustable track bar.

here is another pic of the burb as it sits right now, just in the garage.
Attachment 681266 stocking up on some parts and tools, still more to come Attachment 681267 some 2600 dominators and a couple fittings to run on shraders Attachment 681268 cpp front upper shock relocating brackets Attachment 681269 and the grey dash pad that i bought from gringoloco Attachment 681270 |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
nice! i could have sent ya the t's i used when i ran temporary schraders...they are 1/2" t's with the schrader in the middle.
also, what shock ya plan on goin with? i bought some 50's chrysler shocks and they bolt right up...just installed them last night. i havent put the wheels back on yet to check fully inflated and fully deflated to see if they bottom out, but they sure are a cheap alternative. |

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
oh, well since you have the relocation kits im pretty sure your stock shocks should work. the ones i bought are Monroe pn#5752, got them at O'reilly for $22.99 each. heres a pic..
http://images.oreillyauto.com/parts/img/mon/5752.jpg the only thing i had to do was trim the bushing a little to make it fit in between the mount..but i believe my mounts are after market (the nut for the bolt would hit the arm next to the mount as it got tighter) ill snap a pic tomorrow when i get off work |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

Not tryin to jack your thread, but "Rockstars" look pretty damn good on laid out black Suburbans!
In your sig - "...and black 20" wheels and tires (20" KMC Rockstars eventually)" |
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
haha no problem, that is a pretty sweet burb minus the green flames, ugly tail lights, and newer front end though.
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
man that does look good!
