Bldg55 Your firewall looks great, it turned out well. It has me rethinking about smoothing my firewall. Did you have to narrow your seat where it meets the doors? I hear that you hve to do that with these 88-98 Chev seats. Does it feel like the seat is to big, like putting you into the steering wheel? I love the way those seats feel. I've used them in others trucks because they are so comfortable to me.:c2:

The seat fit perfect without any modification other than not putting the headrests on. The back of the seat has about an 1" or so clearance away from the cab on each side. It feels really good to sit in and centers you in front of steering wheel really nice. The base of the seat makes the height just right. I looked at a couple of other seats and considered buckets, but I am really happy with the one I picked out. Basically, all i had to do on the seat was position it where I wanted and drill 4 holes to mount it. Good luck.

My upholstery guy is in Rolla MO. I know he can modify seats with notches and such.
