I tried putting my 4.8/4l80e all the way back like yours and the trans hit the pinch weld on the cab when I tried installing the trans mount. I ended up modifying my adapter plates to both be like your passenger side(1.75" forward). Body work is lookin great by the way!

I have a pic of how much clearance I have now, but its on my home computer. You could possibly cut the pinch weld off to make clearance, but mine was already hitting with the trans just sitting on the cross member, no trans mount.
