Made a little more headway. I got the cab back on along with some fresh body mount bushings, in the process I ended up shimming the cab (body) up an 1/8" to give the trans a little more breathing room. The wiring harness has been laced on the motor and the gas pedal, TAC module , OBDII port, and fuse block have been permanently mounted. The inner fenders have been trimmed to fit around the IFS and are waiting to go to the powdercoaters ,while I was at it I threw some of the sheetmetal back on to start lining everything back up.

I've run into some issues with the exhaust, I've tried several different sets of headers and several sets of manifolds. None of them will fit. So I've been in touch with Delmo and he says he has a solution. I'll keep you guys informed on what we come up with. In the meantime here's some pics.

BTW ignore my messy shop it's in desperate need of a good cleaning. Ignore the two different colors of Dynamat too, I got all of it for dirt cheap.

Your truck is hot and your shop is far from messy. Wish I had a shop the size of yours.

Here's the solution to the LS header issue.

I flew Delmo out here to solve the problem for me, he gave my truck the same treatment that Heisenburg received, some modified Corvette exhaust manifolds. Heres some pics

Re: Locomotive Lugnut

D.... Just got caught up. Where was the actual fit-up issue? Was it the collector position/placement of header that were available?

Re: Locomotive Lugnut

The frame rails are narrow with this PB front kit which limited the use of every set of manifolds and headers that I tried. The collector location was also in a bad spot on everything I tried as well. Modifying these Corvette manifolds was the most economical way to get the exhaust done. Along with collector exit locations, the steering on the driver side had to be accounted for as well, its really tight to get all of the variables between the frame rails.

Like I said flying Delmo out here was the easiest solution for me ,since he is the only other person that has built a truck that utilizes both an LS motor and the PB 55-59 kit.
