Re: Parting this 66
I do have a 12 bolt from a 66 with 373. The cost to get it to you would be crazy. My suggestion would be to become a supporting member and post a wanted ad here in this section and let them know you need one in CA. I am sure you can find one much closer to you. Also the Pomona swap meet is April 23rd and maybe one of the folks going could bring it there or there is a good chance you could find one.

Re: Parting this 66
Hey I appreciate the reply back. I'm actually looking for a 307 or a 273. My truck is in North GA right now. Not gonna ship it out until I get the rear end swapped out. I'll look into the upgrade member. Thanks!

Re: Parting this 66
Those gears will be easier to find in a later 12 bolt. I would find a rear in Georgia to fit your truck and just freshen it up with a new gear and all the bearings and seals and call it good. I an working in that now for my Suburban.

Re: Parting this 66
I didn't read through the whole thread, but i'm looking for a a 4 jet (4g) manual choke carb to get the parts to convert my auto choke carb to manual to use my dash knob. Have one, even if it's a core, with the cable bracket and parts still on carb?

Re: Parting this 66
I don't have any of the old 4 jets. I will keep an eye out for you.

Re: Parting this 66
Window cranks?
Choke knob? Dome light lens? |
Re: Parting this 66
What type of choke knob? I think I should have the rest. I would need to look at the tabs on the dome light lens.

Re: Parting this 66
Manual choke knob..its the only knob in dash I'm missing
|
Re: Parting this 66
The knob is really part of the choke cable. There are two types of knobs. standard and deluxe. One is all black and one has a stainless ring. I have a couple that are just the first three inches or so of the choke cable.

Re: Parting this 66
What knob is supposed to be next to the ignition my just has a black cap. Do you have the heater control panel piece for the dash?
|
Re: Parting this 66
Next to the key is where the lighter went. On trucks that did not have one there was just a plastic plug. I do have some heater control parts. I am not that far from you if you want to go through the parts stash.
