No hang on to it. Not sure if I'm going to make it. Have 2 girls to deliver to college on Saturday and I'm not sure which one I'm taking, if either. If I can get out of it, I'll be there. I've got a couple of items on my "Swap Meet" list that I'm still on the hunt for.

Also, I went and lost a couple of the tabs that hold the jack handle spring down while I was "cleaning" the garage. Man, I really need to get more organized.:whine:

Not a bad looking truck Tony and I'm glad you still have your eye peeled because you know I'm always on the hunt :uhmk: but I rather have more of a stocker (I think). Keep looking if you don't mind my "Craig's list junkie" friend.

Looks great!
Are there any differences in the stock wheels vs the 1970 front wheels on the front side for cap mounting or visual offset?
who did you use for the power disc set up?
did you use a dropped style rear crossmember with the 5"' drop?

Hey buddy, the caps went on the front without a hitch :metal: and all the disc brake/lowering components were "CPP" products including the rear, which are only dropped 5" coils (no C notch needed), it rides fantastic and brakes like a dream!!!! :chevy:

To be honest I scored most of the CCP conversion kit on Craig's list and forum member "CPP Jeff" helped me with the rest. :metal:

Thanks for the complements Black sheep, I've been driving the wheels off this puppy, plus I had the tailgate and the few little flaws fixed so it just graduated to a 7and a 1/2 footer, I'll post some newer pic's tomorrow. :mm:

Shawno, now feel free to remove your glasses!!!! My painter did an outstanding job on the matching of the "pumpkin orange" paint once he completed the slight surface rust repair work on the front lower part of the hood and the flaws in the tailgate making it look right!!!! :metal::metal::metal:

And a big "shoutout" to my wife who did the tailgate white lettering to complete the picture!!! :chevy:
