Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
I like the silver and white combo, not wild about the graphic that breaks it up. I think it was done that way when he bought it as part of the Centurion conversion.

I like everything about this crewcab! The silver over white and the graphics are very eye catching. Wheels and stance are perfect.
This gave me a great idea for painting on my 86 crewcab shortbed. Nice Truck! |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Well I have got a few things done lately on mine. The front sheetmetal is gone, old engine and tranny are gone. The interior is completely gutted! Gas tank is off.
This weekend I got a brand new shortbed tank from Advance Auto Parts for $108. Of course I had a pile of new suspension parts for my Blazer that I returned for the tank so it was already paid for! Have you done any experimenting with the shortbed tank on your Truck yet? |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
If I go too much lower on my 04 I will have to do a 2 piece driveshaft.
Keep up the good progress. |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Thanks guys!
No i havent tried it yet its been really cold but starting to get better. Thats the plan for the weekend and maybe do some swapping on the front suspension to change to 5 lug. |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Sweet :metal:
if you can stay at this pace then you will be able to pull the 62 with it. :D |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Scotts62: Can you post pics of your air intake system on the 454? I saw the (early in the thread) engine pics but can't see how the MAP sensor is mounted. I'm looking at a similar truck this week but been told the air intake/filter system is off and not available. I'm concerned about this sensor and how it's mounted. I looked at the wrecking yards around here and have not found a like year 454 that's not been picked over.
Appreciate any/all assistance. |
Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
just checked my home computer and saw the pics... cool truck! Gonna see it at the meet, pulling the '62??

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
tango yankee
interjection •thank you. Etymology: "tango" is radio dispatcher code for the letter T, and "yankee" is radio dispatcher code for the letter "Y." Thought this might help ya understand the "lingo"... |

That's something Travis and I can help on. We may not know much about the mechanicals of these trucks, but we can install a sink. You want it to have water come out right? :haha:

 I doubt that. John's probably right though. Most of my experience is inside the engines.
