Body shop

Re: Grey Goose
You have worked there for a longtime? I remember your other truck now. That body shop did a SGI claim for me like 12 or 14 years ago on a I think 89 chev short box, reprainted it all a different red and put an offset racing stripe on hahaha. It wa pretty cool at the time.

Posted via Mobile Devicehere is another pic of the inners. It does not do them justice. They look so perfect, and I know delmo spent a lot of time on them.

Cool truck, If I see it I will have to chase you down to have a better look at it.
|
Re: Grey Goose
That is the nicest inner fender I've seen yet for these trucks. I love the rolled shape and bead roller work on the top. Very nicely done.

Re: Grey Goose
So I am thinking of changing my wheels and tires on the goose. Currently 22/24s with 30 series tires. Hiways and roads up where I live aren't very good, and I wanting to go with a smaller rim to give me some more sidewall. I know that's backwards to most people. What do you guys think, stick with Delmo specials or change it completely? Open to ideas and options.

Here is a good side shot.

Re: Grey Goose
I think it depends on how much driving you do with the truck. Personally, I think they are the best looking wheels you can put on the truck. On the other hand, if comfort is that important to you, maybe try another tire/wheel combo to see if you can find what you're wanting. The wheels that are on it now are the perfect look for the truck.
|
Re: Grey Goose
If you are making to change to enjoy driving it more, I would look at a wheel like the Coy C5 in the gray. Something that is still old school style and not chrome or flashy billet...
I think the current ones hit the truck well, maybe keep those for going to shows and cruise nights... |
