Hahaha, looks cool enough to keep it on!! 245/35-20 front and 245/35-22 in back, I think. It's been awhile since I put them on, pretty sure that they are 245 and I am positive they are 35.

One of these days I'm going to take a long road trip in my truck and Texas looks like the place to be to see some killer trucks.

That sounds like a great plan, and I know some great places to go! Come on down and we'll have some BBQ and some cold ones after the show! First Saturday of every month we have the Coffee and Cars from 8 to 10 then the Niftee 50's show from 5 to 10. Go check out the Coffee and Cars FM249 on Youtube, there is some cool stuff there!

Thank you for checkin out the thread! I will absolutely take what you have said into consideration. I do already have a PCV valve in the intake and will reroute my vacuum lines to the carb for more ventilation. If that isn't enough then I will use a "T" and split it to the PCV and the carb. That should be enough to evacuate the crankcase but as a last option I will drill the covers although I really hate to do so.

No problem, hope it helps out. I was looking at this pic, trying to see what you currently have configured. If I'm seeing it right, it looks like you've got a vac line going from the manifold vacuum port (just behind the passenger side of the carb) to the oil fill tube cap (which I am making a bit of an assumption on believing that it is also a breather filter). I also see a vac hose coming off the PCV fitting on the front of the carb, but I'm not certain where it's going, unless that's connecting to the PCV valve you mention in your response.

If I am seeing this right, I think it will all straighten out if you disconnect the vac line between the manifold and the breather filter and cap off both ends. If I'm not seeing it right, then I'm all wet.

I was outta town this weekend so no shows, but the Coffee and Cars was incredible. 1932 Highboys all the way to Lambo Guillardos, it was really cool to see the full spectrum of new and old hot rods and exotics.

I did run the power booster to the manifold and the breather to the carb which seem to help alot. The hose you see going from the front of the carb is going to the trans, but that is changing tomorrow. I will run that to the small vaccum tube on the front which is really all it needs. It was running fine today with everything just thrown together with tubes not fitting properly and such, but it will done correctly by the weekend. This should be the fix to the problem, then it will be time to throw a new video up with it running properly!!! :metal:

Did anyone see the orange 67 C10 at about 1:22 in the Youtube video above? That truck is really clean, and low! I was driving to the show that morning and I saw it going down the road in the opposite direction. Wish I could have gotten a couple of pics for you guys.

Well, today I set the timing for the final time and hope that the air/fuel is close. I pulled it out of the shop and back in to make sure all was fine for a short spin.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window

Here is the "little spin" around the block, everything seems fine except for the grinding sound in the speedometer. I guess that's not too bad. The video is kinda crappy since the camera was a little shaky.

Nice to see it back on the road.

It's far to quiet if you can hear that speedo mechanism clicking ;)

It actually has quite a pleasant mellow sound to it at idle. It's nice to be able to hear the stereo without having it at 90% volume once in a while.
