Very Nice lighting. How much were the lights. I may try this on mine later on.

The LEDs were $5.95 each. There are 5 of them. There are less expensive alternatives, but I wanted the high power SMD LEDs for mine, so I spent the money for them.

It really is pretty simple. Due to having to actually dig into the cluster and pull the gauges out, it's not quite as simple as the same job on a '96-'98 cluster, but it is a very basic job.

I kept waiting around for someone on some forums to give proper info on how to do the job on the moonie gauges, but it never happened. Plenty of people were doing the work on '91-'94 needle clusters and trying to apply that same information to the moonies, but that's just not the case. I had a little extra money for some LEDs and the truck isn't leaving the garage anytime soon, so I figured I'd tear into it and figure it out for myself.

Yeah. It'll still probably take another 2 years or more to get those final 153 miles.

That is a nice looking truck. There is one here in town that is just like that without the bedrails and tool box. Just as clean too.

My 98 Cheyenne 1 X 1 (HA) owned since 2000. 141,700 miles has pulled my vintage 1977 21ft Mark Twain to the lake and back 100's of times.

Yeah me too, couldn't pass em up, my cousin bought a new 07 and at about 5,000 miles put aftermarket wheels with 31's on it. sold me those wheels and tires for $400. Would've spent more than that just for tires on my old rims which I sold on craigslist for $250

Not a bad trade off, i have the newer style but not that new. I think they are off an '04 or something.
