Hey! Do you still have the bucks for the inner fenders? I have to do this to my fenders here shortly. Id be happy with a piece of paper and maybe just trace that line on it. Ill pay shipping if you can help me out! Awesome Build!

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Have a good safe trip! I hope all goes well. Looks like the truck is in good company, even the boat matches.

Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
I know your truck, seen it here before and on instagram, but this is the first time I've gone through your entire build thread. In short, wow! Awesome truck, and awesome incremental progress with details along the way to get it there. This is a top notch build thread and build.

Chris I made a round trip to check it out today but I did have to work on the GTO as well. Man you realize the last time I saw your truck was before you went out west at the RR streetrods show in Bossier, a really long time ago. I've seen you but not the truck since then. Wow it's come a long way. It's in good hands now. Wish you were here today.

We worked on the GTO & Ratchet's Blazer, all while waiting for various coats of primer or paint to dry. Can't leave out my wonderful wife Brandi either, she kept us fed (very well!) and supplied with beer so that we could keep going without stopping. We were multi-tasking like I've never seen before! I just haven't had time to post up pictures. |

It's gonna be too nice to drive, Chris.
I especially love the way you made the LS look retro. The air cleaner is the cherry on top. |

Curious, do you have a clamp for your e-brake cable so it doesn't mar up your pretty new inner fender? Seriously guys, great job, that HRF never looked so good. :metal: :chevy: |

The blue is HRF; the black on the inners is this stuff, recommended by n2billet. I’m told it layed out a bit splotchy when wet, but dried to this beautiful, factory appearing finish |

All back together, just needs the A/C charged, a couple of wires connected, and to change out an O2 sensor that crapped out. Oh yeah, she needs a bath too, but it'll probably be driving in the rain leaving my house, so I'll clean it up once we get there. So who's coming out to Lebanon, TN this weekend for the Southeastern Truck Nationals to see Gringo's famous truck for it's first big show appearance?

Getting different (new) wheels would likely mean you'll have similar wheels as many similar trucks & be spending similar money. I get the desire for something new/diff to you. But... from another's perspective, what you've got on there still works very well visually. |
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
If you buy polished wheels while you are overseas, they will still be in the box when you get back! These wheels are perfect. No polishing required.
