A pic that hasn't been posted in the last ten pages:

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...s/DSC01106.jpg

Only got about 3 - 4" of snow at my house. Closer to Huntsville got over 6". Memorial Parkway has been closed since yesterday afternoon. The local radio stations have about ten minute's worth of closings to announce at the top and bottom of every hour.

National weather service bulletin Friday night said "NO SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED". Way to drop the ball, guys.

That blue truck has a B52 kit, appears to be around 7in. front lift but the B52 kit is 4in. lift by itself so...

Not sure what I am going to do yet. Wanting to lay it on the rockers (or what used to be rockers), but it depends on if I get my hands on one of the 06 Sierras that are supposed to be coming to the dealership my brother works for.

Yes sir the 06 Sierras are all 2wd longbeds so if I get one the front axle from this will go under the 06 and a new crossmember will be put in the 86 frame.:metal:

I thought you can't buys vehicles (or parts) fro the program? and if you buy a cab isn't technically the Vehicle? Just curious Nice project BTW

I believe AL law states the vehicle's VIN goes with the frame, not the body. The law may or may not be different where you is.

I tried to buy a complete '79 or 80 model crewcab from a local crusher and they said I could have anything but the motor and the frame. While I thought it over somebody else rolled through and bought the bed and all the sheetmetal.

yeah here in Ontario it's the cab that's considered the "vehicle" but glad to see that the program isn't killing everything Thanks for saving a CC fro the junk pile!
