Thanks guys! Not much progress on the Suburban this week as I've been trying to get my shop finished up. Insulation and sheet rocking should by done by the end of the week, finish the trim this weekend, then paint everything this Monday....:metal:.

That looks good. Did you do the sheet rock and mudding?

I'm still working on getting my shop put back together. All the painting is done but I need to reinstall my lights and assorted components. I had Friday off (God Bless all of our Military and Veterans!) so I took the suburban and had the exhaust installed. It was a tight fit, but it came out well and sounds good. Pics and video!

Looks and sounds good!! I see you have a cruise control on your turn signal switch. Did you get it hooked up and working, or have you not tested it yet (I assume not)? Sorry if I missed it, but is it the factory GM cruise through your ECM or are you using an aftermarket kit like Dakota Digital?

Thanks! My motor is a GEN III, so I was able to wire it into the tach module using a Dakota Digital HND-3 CC handle. Isn't your a Gen IV? If so, you will have to go with an aftermarket setup.

You are correct, it is a gen IV. Too bad I'll have to go aftermarket, but at least I can wait on that. Thanks for the heads up.

Burb looks and sounds good rob. What mufflers you end up with on it?

Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers, Magnaflows, 2 1/2" aluminized pipe all the way back, with an H-Pipe.

If is not too much trouble, which Magnaflows did you use?
Thanks VC

I believe they were these:

Finally finished all the painting. Just need to hang some blinds and finish the bathroom. Moved the Burb back in to get a feel of where I want to place all of my tools/toolboxes.

Very nice! I wish I would have painted all my dry wall before I piled all the stuff against the walls in my garage!

Thanks! I don't want to have to move stuff again, so I'm trying to get everything done before I start filling it back up,.

Not much progress other than moving stuff back into the shop. I did get my cruise control working and some minor tuning done, so that's a win :metal:.
