I have 8" wheels ordered, but no delivery until August. I stole these wheels off my Longhorn.

Backspacing is huge. Something like 6" This truck needed a lot to work with the portal axles but it still proved too much to package without a spacer. Ultimately, there was only one source for a drop-valley 17" hoop that would even come close to working with a factory 16.5" Chevy center... so I made it work. You can somewhat see the caliper clearance in this photo. It's a Ford Superduty rotor and caliper conversion for this application. https://hosting.photobucket.com/albu...080&fit=bounds -G |

I bought a '68 Burb at the end of June that had truck ralleys . I changed those out for some I had with some 31-10.50 tires and put some 245-60's up front . Then before I put the new 275-60's out back I acquired some center caps for some car style ralleys ...so I bought a set of 15x10's for the rear 15x8's front and here we have the finished result.
