1972 K-5 Blazer. 350/SM465/NP205. Rust free truck now.

It will go under the knife in the fall. Going back to the automatic 350/NP205. Staging/collecting things for an LS swap (a constant debate).

And most importantly ditching the 68 front clip and the cowl induction hood going back to the 72. Not of offend but having a cowl induction hood is similar to being kicked in the sack. Each and every time I look at it. Just not my cup of tea. LOL

The HELO hooptie wheels will go as well.

Late in the fall/early in the winter my plans are for it to be a bright orange, somewhere between the hugger orange of yesteryear and the hemi-orange of today.

Plan. Plans. Plans. LOL

Looks like a solid base for a nice truck! Wish you were closer. I would trade you front clips. I am not much for the cowl hood either but I love 67-68 clips.

It should be available in the fall so if you are in the neighborhood......stop by.

It may be a bit ugly but I love it

I love everything about the looks of your truck. It’s very unique and has a TON of cool factor IMO

I recently purchased this 100% original paint survivor in Dutchess Co. NY..I'm hoping somebody recognizes this truck as I believe it was a one owner truck prior to the person I bought it from.....Its rusted & dented, but no signs of accidents or previous body work. The interior is untouched & the seat is in excellent condition with a few minor tears.... The person I bought the truck from removed the original wheels as they had a split ring & tires dry rotted....He did not keep the wheels :( I am also searching for the production numbers of this model but came up dry on the "Standard Catalog of American Lt. Duty Trucks 3rd Edition. The catalog list my vehicle description as KS10904 with a hyphen on numbers produced, as in unknown.....I know its a pretty rare truck and discovered it was a Oshawa Canadian built truck. Just would like to know how many were built.......If anyone has a similar truck would like to hear from you....

Which part of it do you say is ugly? I like all those colors

"That's right, son". I really like this truck. I really love that you run it! I was really hoping to bring my '72 K2500 on down to the SETN show. It's about the same distance from here. Would have been cool to bring our two together so far from their homes.

Looking plenty healthy. I'm sure the ride is improved. Mine really needs better springs.

4th of July at The Barbara Fritchey Classic, America's oldest continuously run flat track race. ALWAYS held on the 4th of July! Not some 3 day gov't employee weekend

Are you going to Waxahachie this year? I forgot to register before it sold out. I may go to Nashville.

I really like how you did that truck. My son had a CUCV Blazer sitting here doing nothing with it. I envisioned taking it and doing something like you did using a set of 1t axles, cab, and clip I have. If I do one it will probably be a flatbed. So don't worry, no copy cattin' here  (How about I do desert tan? :D)

Yawn. I thought you would impress me with three fine trucks, but you did

My twisted point is 'that' is the only way it could turn out no matter how you put it. Three fine trucks!!

Mine likes to be heard as well as seen. The wheels & tires I've since changed to the ones shown a few posts back, but here's a couple minutes of my '72 K2500

I love so many things about your truck and have a bunch of questions about it, but would you mind posting a picture of the front. I'm thinking of getting my grill either powder coated or painted and would like to see what you have done with yours.

Also, what is your lift and tire size?

Great looking truck!!

We had some March snow fall in Portland on Saturday, so I headed for the hills in Sunday. This is my way of keeping to the social distancing rule!

Hey 52napco, really nice trucks! What size rims (and back spacing) are on the "original paint super"?

Thanks,
Cameron

Excuse my ignorance but what is the benefit of the 73+ frame swaps?
