There have been many times I had to walk away from a car at my real job and work on something else. Then I come back to it and it falls into place. BTW thanks

:haha:

I did a serch for Bad Job, and came up with this. :haha: :haha:

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…

1. Good: Your wife is pregnant.
Bad: It's triplets.
Ugly: You had a vasectomy five years ago.

2. Good: Your wife's not talking to you.
Bad: She wants a divorce.
Ugly: She's a lawyer.

3. Good: Your son is finally maturing.
Bad: He's involved with the Woman next door.
Ugly: So are you.

4. Good: Your son studies a lot in his room..
Bad: You find several porn movies hidden there.
Ugly: You're in them.

5. Good: Your hubby and you agree, no more kids.
Bad: You can't find your birth control pills.
Ugly: Your 13 year old daughter borrowed them.

6. Good: Your husband understands fashion.
Bad: He's a cross-dresser.
Ugly: He looks better than you.

7. Good: You give the "birds and bees" talk to your daughter.
Bad: She keeps interrupting.
Ugly: With corrections.

8. Good: The postman's early.
Bad: He's wearing fatigues and carrying a shotgun.
Ugly: You gave him nothing for Christmas.

9. Good: Your son is dating someone new.
Bad: It's another man.
Ugly: He's your best friend.

10. Good: Your daughter got a new job.
Bad: As a hooker.
Ugly: Your coworkers are her best clients.
Way ugly: She makes more money than you do.

No progress on the truck for a week. It all boils down to being lazy.

What have I done now?? A guy traded me a 1986 4Runner and cash for my Turbo Miata. You know how it is when you get tired of of a car/truck. Get something else. I know it's not a Chevy, but a SBC might end up in it. Don't know what I will do. Just want to be able to take the kids off road.

I say you put a SBC in it, get rid of the front diff and the transfer case and whatnot, and BAG IT. make it a tail dragger http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/i...ilies/wave.gif

No, It laid down on me last weekend. It didn't quit, it's was running rough. Trying to figure it out. There's to many possible causes. Just trying to narrow them down.

Other than the Toyota, life is getting in the way.;) BTW I pulled this on out of the woods for dirt cheap and it runs, but does need work.

It looks really straight.
BTW, I don't have a lot of money. If I did I wouldn't be in debt. But still my bills are very low. That was the plan to retire. That's why I'm still working. I like toys. I rather be doing only my stuff.

I knew you were messing with me. A lot of people think I have a lot of money because of the toys I have. I just spend it wisely, and not all at once. It took a long time to build up to this point. I worked my a$$ off all my life and USED TO MAKE GOOD MONEY. But now it's a third of what I used to make. :waah:
There, I feel better now.

I feel your pain. I'm in the same boat.

Still trouble shooting the 4Runner :sumo: here is a LINK to the discussion.

Shannon brought his cab over yesterday so we can get to work on his. Here is a Link to his build. Maybe I can get motivated once I get this Yoda running.

But I was prepared for it by lowering the bills, and getting SS & Snap-on retirement. Hang in there. It should get better. Your lucky compared to other body men. At least you know mechanical also. That opens up more doors.

Does it count as progress even if I just got some metal so I can fab up the fuel pocket in the bed? I want to work on it, but this damn yoda is still fighting me for 2 1/2 weeks. Any body got a match?  I've learned alot about emmisions and computers this past 2.5 weeks just haven't learned enough to get it right.;)

I guess I'm making progress every day then. :haha: Tojo's getting revenge on me alright. :waah:

Since I'm getting my butt kicked by these 2 yoda's I had to build my confidence up a little. It just reinforces the fact of why I do body work over doing mechanic work for a living. I think I would starve.

I also had to prove that I was still around and hadn't abandoned the project. I cut out the inner fuel pocket and got it bent. I used some metal from a wrecked hood at work. Then ran it thru the sand blaster on the side you see. I've go to put some more sand in the cabinet, so I didn't do the underside yet.

I'm sure they will sell you one. LOL It's good but not great. I couldn't shear the metal I made this piece out of. If I had it more secure to the table then I might be able to shear it. It weighs about 300# and don't want it to tip.

No, due too some poor decisions on my part I haven't been able to work on it. I could of had the bed almost done by now if it wasn't for other things that need to be done. Maybe the misery will end soon. Thanks for asking!!

I don't have a clue when it will be on the road or even running. I should be able to spend a little time on it here and there. I've been helping Shannon get his metal work going and Ronnie is planning on bringing his cab to me pretty soon. He's basically waiting on me.
