Yes I did. The funny thing is I forgot to pull them off before heading down the road but the magnet is strong enough to hold them in place... My rear side glass will slide forward in the back. I think a buddy from the back (3rd row) seat might be able to open a beer from inside the truck.

Thanks
Marc

Amazing! congrats on the first outing Austin must have loved it. Like you said most people will not know some of the mods to get it that low, but that just shows you did a great job.

Austin remarked that he really liked going to the show. It has been a couple of years. I sold my 48 2 yrs ago and with Covid this was our first car even in quite some time

Thank you
Marc

What a great combo. Really digging the color choices.

What’s wrong with the master cylinder?

Much appreciated. The lid leaks and I pulled it to bench bleed (again) to help diagnose a brake issue. I did still have some air in it. The lid leaks and I hated the spring clips that hold it down. I'm going with a Wilwood. I have been in contact with their tech line and they will spec the correct bore size for the master. They are great to work with.

Good to know. I have a very similar m/c setup and mine leaks too. Hard for me to change since my brakes work so good though.

I did yellow tint on a truck years ago, it fit the paint really well but driving it looked like someone peed on the world

Funny the dog does not do well in car rides. He gets too nervous. I'm hoping a few rides in the suburban fixes that. It has a lot of flat floor and he can walk around much easier.

Here is a different pic since you were asking for yellow...These are are projection beam with LED lights. I'm hoping this truck has better night visibility than my last.

Marc

seeing the yellow headlights against your paint, the yellow side tint might actually be kind of wicked ... but the chicken wire glass would really bring home that rat-rod feel ;)

While I wait for my new Wilwood master to show up today to get my brakes sorted out, I decided to install my side rear windows...Man what a pain. Now I know why most people replace the sliding glass with one flat piece.

I hope my passengers appreciate the air flow...ha ha

2 down with 2 to go...............

Yes the real reward is the passenger can stick their arm out the back window to reach the bottle opener.

Here are a few more pics. I will drive the Suburban today to confirm but it looks like I fixed my brake issues. All of my slide glass is now in. I also installed all interior window trim. Now that the brakes are done I can finish the carpet/jute pad up front.

I pan to drive it to Columbus GG show in July so want to make it as quiet/air tight as possible on the inside. I'm finishing the windlace and additional sound deadener to help.
