It's a red trailer light that I put in there 10 years ago. Something dumb I did to get a red glow from inside the bumper. I'd forgot about it being there til I seen that pic also.

I think that Greystone Metallic would look good on the whole truck.

Been a member for a little while but usally hang out on the 73-87 forums. I took a pic of my dads 90 model with my phone so its not the best. Its got a "new" creat 350 lowered 2/4, boss 315 20's, "new" paint. Its beed restored for like 7 years but it sits in the garage covered. He'll drive it to church every once in awhile. Probably not even 5,000 miles on the motor.

livnlo, that is freaking beautiful. I'm feeling the two-tone. How'd you get it that low, and what are those wheels?

I would love to see some specs on this truck! Almost identical to my sons truck, so wheel/tire sizes and BS would be cool. Also drop components. Did you narrow the rearend? Looks pretty good!

Curious as well. Interested as to how you achieved 9" of front drop.

I've got a 2wd with a 4/6 and i run the front "spoiler" just like he does. There is not enough clearance for another 5" of drop IMHO.

His before photo looks like a 4wd. Sits alot higher than a 2wd right? Maybe that's how he's coming up with 9"?

Am I missing something?

BHBurban 03-01-2011 12:09 PM

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks

Nope, 5 lugs. 2WD.

His stock pic does look 2" maybe 3" lifted though.

Thank you. Hopefully I can resurrect it here in the next year or so. I wrecked it in 2004, rebuilt the front clip and was just getting ready to get it going again in 2005 when a cold snap popped all my freeze plugs. Then, a year or so later, I became homeless for about three years, so its been sitting at a friends house. Now that I am slowly getting back on my feet, hopefully some progress can be made.
