Re: Daverods project 66
It's still F*cking windy here. It's been going on for about a month now. Went to Vegas this weekend, and it was windy as hell there too, but only 1 day. :uhmk:

Re: Daverods project 66
Should get my truck parts on friday.:metal: I know what I'm doing this weekend.:mm: Put some new hood hinges on. Got my radiatior support and battery put in last night. Filled it up and fired it up. She's going live.;) Did'nt know they made so many different types of 4 bladed fans. What a pain. I ended up beating mine into submission. I really was'nt that bad.:uhmk:
|
Re: Daverods project 66
Dave, If your interested. I also have a stock OE 4 blade fan that came off my old 283 you are welcome to if you will cover shipping.
|
Re: Daverods project 66
Thanks Zack. Thats what I had too. The bolt pattern is alittle bit wider.? I also had another one laying around but the fan was much smaller. Thanks for the offer.

I am new here and have had my eye on many of the builds going on here as I prepare to stat on my 64 and I have to say my heart sank when I came to where your truck was wrecked but it looks good now great work. |
Re: Daverods project 66
Truck sure is looking good!! You don't let the grass grow under your feet.
I thought you liked stuff in patina? So why paint the fridge? I think it would look cool with a flame job:metal: |
Re: Daverods project 66
The fridge was white with a good paint job. Kinda boring.;) It's funny how many dents and stuff start appearing when you put out the filler. Picked up some nice theather room red. What free time? I use too have free time:smoke: It's just not as fun when your time is'nt really yours.:waah:

Re: Daverods project 66
I was messing around with the bed on my 66. Had to move some of my air stuff to get the front of the bed on. After I was done one of my air valves would not open. Talked to Jon at Scottshotrods said to check the ground. Wala. Fixed. Nice people.:metal:Good prices.
|
Re: Daverods project 66
Is that where you bought your airride stuff from. They have some good prices. and Jon is a really cool dude.
Now get back to work at doing something. |
Re: Daverods project 66
Ya Jons cool thats where I bought my stuff and stuff. I'm trying to get my bed sides, tailgate and front piece ready for paint. Found out Walmart is the place to go to get tires mounted. Got 4 tires mounted for $20.
