That is great news Dale. When the going gets rough is when you figure out who the true friends are.

Outstanding! Good friends doing what good friends do.
Someone said “a good measure of a man is what kind of friends he has”.
You must be a good man Dale.

I never lose my wallet... NEVER! But I did seem too one late winter day. I remembered using it at a convenience store we stopped at on the way home from work. It had about $300 in it and that upset me. Went back to the store, no one knew nothing no way no how. Hmmm... really? Or did someone keep it? I remember setting my coffee on top of a trash can in front of the store while waiting for my crew to come out. So I dug through that. I did get a bunch of aluminum cans!! Nah. So anyway, I was bummed. I NEVER lose that thing! Had to cancel cards, get new drivers license, all that stuff. Ok, so spring, summer, fall pass and it's getting cold out. I dig out the Carhart bibs, unfold them, and, 'plunk'. What's that on the floor that just fell out? My wallet!! Like I said, I never lose that thing! That day was the last time I wore the bibs that winter. DOH!!

That money spent real easy, just as Killer's is going to

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Last week, we took some friends to a new restaurant, and noticed that the waiter who took our order carried a spoon in his shirt pocket. It seemed a little strange.

When the busboy brought our water and utensils, I observed that he also had a spoon in his shirt pocket. Then I looked around and saw that all the staff had spoons in their pockets. When the waiter came back to serve our soup I inquired, 'Why the spoon?'

'Well,' he explained, 'the restaurant's owner hired a Consultant to revamp all of our processes. After several months of analysis, they concluded that the spoon was the most frequently dropped utensil. It represents a drop frequency of approximately 3 spoons per table per hour

‘If our personnel are better prepared, we can reduce the number of trips back to the kitchen and save 15 man-hours per shift.'

As luck would have it, I dropped my spoon and he replaced it with his spare. 'I'll get another spoon next time I go to the kitchen instead of making an extra trip to get it right now.' I was impressed.

I also noticed that there was a string hanging out of the waiter's fly.

Looking around, I saw that all of the waiters had the same string hanging from their flies. So, before he walked off, I asked the waiter, 'Excuse me, but can you tell me why you have that string right there?'

‘Oh, certainly!' the consulting firm I mentioned also learned that we can save time in the restroom. By tying this string to the tip of our you-know-what, we can pull it out without touching it and eliminate the need to wash our hands, shortening the time spent in the restroom by 76.39%.

I asked quietly, 'After you get it out, how do you put it back?'

'Well,' he whispered, 'I don't know about the others, but I use the spoon.'

Super Bowl

Alright, friends. I hate asking for things from people, but this is really serious.

A good friend of mine has two tickets on the fifty yard line for the 2019 Super Bowl.
He paid $2,500 each, but he didn't realize last year when he bought them, it was going
to be on the same day as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone
to take his place.

The wedding is at St. Michael's Church in Nashville at 3 p.m. The bride's name is Nicole,
and she's 5'4", about 115 lbs. She's a good cook too. She'll be the one in the white dress.
Hope you can be there for him! Can you help him???
