i been working on my radiater support and got all the un wanted holes welded up and smoothed out, and cut that silly bump on the top of the radiater support on both sides now its nice and contoured and smooth on the top of that radiater support looks much better haveing everything welded up and smothed out,
i went and looked at a1971 gmc truck with a freind of mine hes a big monster truck lover like me he had quite a few use to have 86 1 ton we put 21 inch lift in it and had 46s turf and feild tires on it and had a lifted camro also he sold everything a long time ago so now he whants to build another one so he bought the 71 gmc and we will be lifting that also he whants to put them 49inch irock tires on so were going pretty big with it he got it off origanal owner has 276,000 miles on it and runs like brand new still cant beleive it but the truck is in pretty good condition hardly any rot on it only bed floor so i guess ill be hellping him do that truck soon |

My project is only just beginning :metal:
So far, all I've done is sand / repaint the wheels white (like they should be), replace shocks, adjust steering/bearings in the front end, new blinker switch, window felts, driver's weatherstripping, new radiator and convert to serpentine. Many more things planned... Last pic is a crummy cell one, only one I have since the wheels were painted |

I guess I should update my new race truck/car.We are now building a 75 Chevelle chassis and putting 68 Chevy C10 shell on her.We will be racing at Sunvalley speedway in Vernon BC and Agassiz speedway in the Fraser Valley in BC.Our old race truck was all truck but to keep up with lighter cars we had to change chassis so here it is

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
The wheels are foose nitrous 20x10 and 20x8 with 305/50r20s in the back and a little smaller inthe front. The 462 is in and running, rockers are almost done then just front clip and bed. hopefully Paint by spring. It was a longbed. yeah the suspension is all custom and the arms are a foot shorter than stock with urethane bushings.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Here is an old pic from around 1990 of my Dad's 1970 C/10, my 1971 Elcamino SS, and my brothers 1967 (with a 1968 bed) C/10 stepside. The stepside was mine about 2 months before this pic was taken. He had been askin' to buy it from me for years... I finally sold it to him. :)

Finally, a few pictures of mine. 1970 C10 Custom, 350, stock. My dad had the body work done a couple of years before I got it. The interior needs some work, and the engine is due for a complete detailing along with a few minor upgrades.
