I never tried 3M tape guys so I can't knock the product. I have used blue or green painters tape and it work. I have to double it up though. twice the tape is still cheaper. My truck is painted complete except for touch up. I received two nice steel 67 head light rings today. Got to sand blast them and paint then with primer. will post the results maybe tomorrow. I will keep the better of the two. Sell the other set. |

Today I tried to install the windshield but failed. But I did install the rear glass. I would like to have both but, at least it was a wash out as far as the glass goes.

Re: 1968
I hurt my back trying to install the windshield, so that' s why I stopped. got to look at some more video's on installing that thing. But now I have to wait for a few days to let my back heal.

Today I had a Dr's appointment for my back. After I got back I installed the turn signal switch level. I for got to install it when I put it together. Then I mounted the radiator cover and painted the sides of the truck under the hood black. They were orange and they just didn't look right. Now they all match the engine compartment. What do you guys think. Then I fished the dome light through the opening for the light. Tomorrow I will mount the grill whoops and front turn signal lens and other lens.
Let it snow only kidding guys. |
