Went pickin. Found some good yard art and a old rat rod frame. I'm guessin 1930? on the frame. Found it in the mountains.:metal: Pulled it out of the ground and took the rusted old body off it. Sucks when you don't have power tools. Chopped the body off with a axe.:chop:

you dont find stuff like that in the netherlands , for one most of the vintage stuff got melted in WW2 and wat there was left sitting outside is turned intoo red powder by now

:lol::lol: I could'nt just leave it there.:smoke: I do have a bunch of parts ready for some paint. Bedsides, hood tailgate and front of the bed. I keep thinking I'm ready then I see a little somthing else. I know it's my first paint job but I want it to be 1/2 way good. I'll be happy if I get the painting done by winter. Over the winter I can work on getting it running.

My rat rod is gonna be a 33 plymouth circle tracker I have hid out in the barn at the ranch. Has a Flathead Desoto six and still wearing Hoosiers . Still painted with # 51.

Kewler than mine for sure... The old race car is a little rough. the doors are welded shut, windows are removed and the the opera windows cut out (5 window) . Still has nerf bars, push bar and a full roll cage. You straddle the transmission and it still has a hand clutch.
Primitive race car from the 50"s , but it still a 33 plymouth!!

Still, it is a very Neat race car and will make a Great rat rod if I leave it kinda racey but just barely street legal.

Someday............... It is one of those barn finds you hear about, But it is our barn!!!
