Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Have to finish my 61 impala first but as of now pull truck apart and make it a 3/4 ton 4x4 with frame and axles From a 70 k20. Build a 427 with th400 and restore the rest of truck true to original with the exception of adding a few original 1970 chevy options.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Hey guys, after a few months of searching I finally found a nice 1969 C10 to bring home. Just landed at the port yesterday. Took it straight home to wash the salt water off and take a couple of shots.

My '72 SWB. Bolted up my new 22" Raceline wheels & tires this weekend. Very happy with the look. Next step, some attitude adjustment...which means "altitude" adjustment.:metal:

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Hello, names Jim I live in Enid OK and i have driven a 67-72 truck for the last 23yrs and always will. Right now i have a 72 LWB for my driver and finally got a 68 short stepside, wasn't looking to get that exact truck i just wanted a short wheel base truck. I plan on putting a s475 383 in it over the next 1 1/2yrs , its a solid truck body wise the rest of it not so much, but its the only way i can afford one. http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/y...cd1e1611d3.jpg http://i803.photobucket.com/albums/y...8629175161.jpg

Hi. Early Classic 4/5 drop kit with 20x10 and 20x8.5 US Mags "Ramblers." Tires are 295/40 rear and 255/45 front. I believe the offsets were 5 or 5.25? Travis with AZ Pro Performance hooked me up with the right setup though.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
We need some info on that truck, billneumiller! Especially the suspension and wheel/tire setup.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Brothers Trucks posted that pic yesterday on FB and IG. I'm in love with that truck!
|
Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
There's some info back on page 73 for wheels and stance. The truck is original with one repaint in 2000 with 110K miles. It's been well-cared for since new. Thanks for the interest. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

http://www.circleracing.com/108oe.htm The truck was dropped when I purchased it. I'm guessing 4/6. I added a quick ratio steering box and rear sway bar. Handles pretty good for near stock. |
