Moving right along...
Got the return line plumbed and the flex fuel sensor mounted (mostly...waiting on another 90* fitting for the sensor) but the hardline is run. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...psdfad4631.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps9a68e43d.jpg And finally hit a milestone that I've been waiting for http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...psc20fe12e.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps6394b695.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...psf9a20493.jpg Guess I should start fabbing the turbo setup soon. Also planning to paint the underside of the cab before it goes back on. |

So my wife is pretty much the best.
Contracted a local artist to do a caricature style rendering of what I'd like the final product to be. Had no idea she was doing it until she surprised me with it last night. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps24802592.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...psd7a13742.jpg |

Re: Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build
Also picked up some 2nd row captains chairs from a 2012 suburban this weekend.
Can't wait to chop the bases up to make them fit better in the blazer. Also need to find a back seat to match. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps96e22a4b.jpg |
Re: Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build

Re: Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build
Every night I get home and there are more boxes on the porch...lol.
I'm especially excited about these. Maybe I'm getting old, because 2x75 was all the A/C I ever needed....but this will be nice. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...psa8da42b9.jpg Quote:

Re: Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build
Got a little bit done during the night this week.
Finally finished up the fuel system. Got the regulator and return line plumbed. Just need to clip the line to the engine once I figure out exactly where the AC compressor will sit. Got the front drive accessories on as well, aside from the crank pulley and AC stuff. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps435baa0f.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...pseb5309c1.jpg Also got the master bolted up to the hydroboost, and plumbed to the prop valve. Need to set the body on the frame to finish connecting the brake lines. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps76c0a18d.jpg And of course, the UPS and FedEx guys have been at the house daily, dropping off new stuff. Back seat http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps71d76c1a.jpg Radiator http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps42fe2545.jpg Wastegate http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps4773653a.jpg Power steering pressure reducing valve, so that the GM power steering pump doesn't blow out the seals on the Ford steering rack http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps371a4e84.jpg Planning to spend a lot of hours in the shop again this weekend... |

Re: Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build
Looking Good! What bore diameter master cylinder are you running with the disc brakes & hydro-boost?
|
Re: Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build
It's a 77-82 Corvette master (ZOMG CORVETTE PARTS!! haha)
It's a 1-1/8" dia MC |
Re: Project Family Truckster: 2wd Conversion Turbo LSx Blazer Build
I want to see how the back seats fit in your blazer. I took the exact ones out of my burb after fabbing up mounts because even flat on the floor the backs were too high.
