Re: Project '64 C-10 Truck - built in Germany

We cleaned the complete truck bed also as the fenders,.... CLR is just great to make original paint back again. Outside paint I will lave all original and just clear coated freshly and the inside of the engine and truck will be all nice and shiny... also fresh moldings on the site, new chrome bumpers, ... etc

We will mount the cab back sometime end of next week to let it fully dry and than we will start to wire up the electric and also the airride.

Hey Fabian- Great build-

I will be travelling to Germany (Frankfurt, then making my way to Amsterdam)
in early March.

Do you have any *smaller* parts that you need? I can probably bring them with me and maybe save you some shipping fees. I won't have lots of extra room, but maybe I can help you out a little bit.

In exchange, maybe you can show me and the wife some decent local places to eat, visit, drink, etc... I lived in Darmstadt for 2 1/2 years, but haven't been back in about 15 years.

We mounted the cab to the frame and hooked up the air ride to see if everything works out fine before we start wiring and mounting all lines,... AccuAir is just beautiful.

I am also very exited that Del picked up "Sancho" for me and can not wait to have the 67 here in Germany ... also some more parts I have ordered will come with the truck, ... unfortunally it will take some time, as the shippers are quite booked out. I am still missing radiator, steering column and some other parts to finish the 64.
Thanks again Del for the help!!!
