after putting about 600 miles on it, i tore into the electronics of the engine and had the computer sent back out for retune. it ran well, but not as well as a 2006 5.3 should. once that is done- ill drive her the rest of the sunny days of 2010... but then off the road once again for final paint!

did you have to mod the firewall for the engine or move it up?

how does it drive with your nv4500 and engine ect?

Saw the blazer at the Hot Danville Nights and talked with your dad a bit. Nice work! Love the rack idea on the rear seat mounts and the gas filler door is nicely done. Great work, keep it up!

Did the computer retune help?
Let's see some more pics of the storage boxes you made for the back...I'm thinking of doing the same.

Thanks.

I bought a 2001 Chevy 2500HD standard cab and noticed the driver/passenger bench seat in it is similar to the seats in this blazer with one exception: They fold forward, though they don't slide forward in addition to folding forward.
