You've done an outstanding job and should be very proud. Don't forget to take the lil lady out for a great night on the town, as we all know it wouldn't have been possible without her, ;).

Here's the seat. It came out of a 95 Chevy Tahoe. The driver is power front/back and up/down. Both passenger and driver have lumbar. Passenger side is obviously manual adjust front to back and no up/down. I already found the wiring plugs to wiring it up from a Suburban in the salvage yard. I tested all the motors before it was covered and all work great.

The seat will look different installed due to the adjustment in the pictures. It looks like the passenger seat is all the way back and the driver is higher. All will be adjusted properly when it's mounted.

The upholstery guy to model the pattern as close to the original as possible. I think he did a great job. It's covered in a heavy duty marine vinyl. The seat padding was shaved and headrest removed to get the original bench seat look.

Thanks. It's been a lot of fun and needless to say, a thought out process. I want some ideas no one else has used, well.... at least I want it first.

That's good! My brother in-law is now a county sheriff up here, ( jailer )
He gets more overtime then he can handle ;)
I'm a fabricator/artist, I have the physical build, strength, and ability to handle pretty much anyone, except.... maybe a line backer ( where do these guy's come from? outer space? I felt sorry for my wife giving berth to our 7lb girl, these mothers must have wanted to kill there significant others!! )
I am more suited to building things that people need, or enjoy, instead of putting away those that enjoy destruction, there are times though, I wish I could do that job,:josh: just not full time.;)
I do Honor and Thank those that go into these type of positions, it's not always an easy choice, or work to perform, to protect and serve.
Be safe my friend.

OK... UPDATE....

I picked the truck up from the body shop last Saturday. Today I feel I actually got some work done. I installed the front and rear glass. Outer door handles, door locks, part of the vintage air kit, cowl, to see what how it looks (coming back off for the wipers to be installed), Wiper motor, defrost vents, ... I think there's more.... Oh yeah and my sweet custom parts from MEKDAD. A/C dash mount, rear view mirror bracket, and tail gate piece came in today. I must say well above my high expectations. Pics to come....

Man when you have the truck in your possession you really get some work done. So you did the front and rear glass yourself, wow; how hard was that to do? I have always had trouble instlalling glass. Also did you have the deluxe chrome in the weatherstrip, if so then my hat is really off to you (not that isn't already).

Ask and you shall receive.... Ok, for those who have been wanting sunlight pictures, here they are.

I've included walk around pictures... a few pictures of the new tailgate cover, tank, a/c evap, bed with liner, a/c control panel, ron francis fuse panel mounted, and notice.... SMOOTH COWL.

I know I still have a lot of work to do but here's something to look at.
