It really does work.

And another thing that works just as good is to show a teen age boy how to use the rubber bands and tool to castrate a young bull.:exit: they don't come back..

I received my rims yesterday.Big thanks to LILRED (Tony).
Super nice guy and easy to work with.
Also installed the gear shifter my girls got me for Christmas.

Nice.....those are the exact rims that were on my 63 when I got it...only completely rusty :lol:

Those wheels are exactly what I want for my rig - to go with my T/A radials.

Always liked that look and seeing your new ones simply confirms the idea.

On painting the exhaust manifold I use eastwoods High Temp cast Iron Grey and am very pleased with it. We all know however, we will have to touch up after the first coat baks on, thats the nautre of the beast.

I just finished up my 305 A V-6 last week and am trying to arrange a way to tow it to the muffler shop to have the duals put on. I was able to trade with a friend the 1957-1959 3 clip rims and will need to find a good home for the one I have on in the picture.

I popped on to the last page of this thread......and damn!!! Somewhere this coversation got way off trucks:confused::haha: A bit on the scary side:lol:.


Your truck is turning out very nice 4d....the wheels really look good. And as Ive stated many times, I love those GMC hoods.

There is BBQ flat black paint or for woodstoves at tractor supply that is rated up to 1200 degrees F i believe it is. i think the other is rated to like 500 or 600? just an idea

They are 15x8's. I really don't know on the back spacing. Tony might,

I don't know the back spacing of the chrome reverse wheels. I didn't measure before shipping them to David...sorry.

I sure like the way they look on your rig though.
