Re: The Toybox
Thanks guys! I will probably pinstripe the edges and just run them like that for a while. I will be painting the wheels to match too. Keep your eyes on that, who knows what this guy will do next.

Re: The Toybox
Looking good Gerald! Great pic of the kids working on their ride. If you decide to go inline on the fuel pump, the Holly red pump has served me really well for the last 2 years and while I wouldn't call it quiet, if mounted securely in the back by the tank, it's not bad at all.
http://www.holley.com/12-801-1.asp ![]() I used a cheaper Carter for awhile, but it didn't last (though it might have been because I had it mounted up front). They work a lot better as pushers than pullers... Hope this helps. I'll keep my eye out for one. |
Re: The Toybox
The thought of a body drop has crossed my mind more than once in the past and has come up again lately. What do you guys think? I can't decide if it would be worth the effort for the gain.
|
Re: The Toybox
I have no idea what is involved in a body drop for a square body, but the 67-72's I have seen done made a huge difference. We can "body drop" ours a inch or so by relocating the body mounts down.... any chance of this on the square body?
Basically you just have to weigh out the work involved and the result you are looking for to justify this. Or you could just make Bob do it for you. :haha: |

That model is cool. Is it wrong that I kinda like the truck more than the car?

Re: The Toybox
That model was one that Texasfunk found at his local Wal-Mart. You should see it now. (No car)
