To me, wide whites if you have colored wheels and skinny if you have chrome wheels.

I am a blackwall kind of guy but I like thin whitewalls on cars/trucks after about 1955. I had blackwalls on my 65 but the very first thing the guy who bought it did was order wide whites

it doesnt look too bad, I wouldnt have done it on that truck but I see the appeal, in fact I just ordered the exact same setup for my 47.
